Sean-nós Dancing (Rince ar an Sean-nós)

Distinct from the high, formal steps of competitive Irish dancing, sean-nós ('old style') dancing is a low, loose, improvised solo form, danced close to the ground with a battering, rhythmic footwork that answers the music.
