Irish Resources for Teachers and Parents

Free printable Irish worksheets, spelling lists, dictation and classroom tools for primary teachers and Gaelscoil parents. Twenty study sheets in one file, posters for the wall, and a certificate to print. No account needed.

Everything here is free, there is no account to make, and nothing asks a child for a name or an email. It works on a phone, on the board, and offline once a page has been opened.

To print

Twenty printable study sheets, one per subject, and all of them together in one forty-page file in a sensible teaching order, bookmarked so you can jump to any sheet. There are pronunciation guides too, including separate ones for Munster and for the Déise. They are all on the downloads page.

A certificate

A teastas to print for a child who has finished a list, a sheet or a story. Put in the name and what they did, and it downloads as a picture to print at A4, landscape. It is drawn in the browser, so nothing is sent anywhere.

For parents

You do not need fluent Irish to back up what a child is doing in school. There are phrase sheets for Gaelscoil parents, one in the standard and one in Munster Irish, and one for mealtimes and bedtime at home.

A few things worth knowing

Every word read aloud is a real Irish voice, not an English one reading Irish. The pronunciations are written the way an English speaker would read them and lean on the standard, and Ulster, Connacht and Munster each say some things differently. Nothing here needs an account, and if a child does make one it only keeps their own progress and can be deleted from their profile.
