Phrases worth stealing

• Cé a bhí ag an doras agat aréir?: Who was at your door last night?
• Mo dheartháir.: My brother. “Mo” lenites: deartháir becomes dheartháir.
• Ag a haon déag a chlog?: At eleven o'clock?
• Tá tú i do shuí déanach.: You're up late. Literally “you are in your sitting”, the same pattern as i mo shuí.
