Focal an Lae: Croí
Monday, 19 October 2026
Croí (kree) is the Irish for heart.
The heart as organ and as feeling, the same as in English. A chroí is what you call somebody you love, and mo chroí istigh, my heart within, is as warm as Irish gets.
